Ruling process

Sintaxis. Revista científica del Centro de Investigación para la Comunicación Aplicada rules submitted articles by using a double blind process. Once the Editor gets the text, they verify that the article is pertinent to the magazine and that it contains the solicited structure. The Editor then sends the text to two researchers who are experts on the matter, and who will follow an evaluation rubric, where they shall justify one out of three result options: accepted, accepted with modifications, and rejected. The subsections in the rubric to rule articles are: 1) Originality and subject relevance; 2) Adequate text structure, logical order of ideas; 3) Methodological structure: objectives, methodology, results, and discussion; 4) Solid argumentation, consistence, and rigorous analysis; 5) Use of adequate and current quotes and references; 6) Grammar, spelling, and clarity in the exposition.
